Description

Few places in the world can offer so many different landscapes in such a small area as the island of La Palma. Known as "The Beautiful Island" it has been a World Biosphere Reserve since 2002.
Its incredible landscapes, deep forests and history will surprise you throughout the tour, giving you an unforgettable day.
We will sail from the port of Los Cristianos to the Port of Santa Cruz de La Palma. This small colonial-style town is the capital of the island, it was founded by Alonso Fernández de Lugo on May 3, 1493, and in its time was the third most important port of the Crown of Castilla after Seville and Antwerp. We will visit places of cultural and historical interest such as La Calle Real, Plaza de España where we will admire a beautiful architectural complex in the Renaissance style, Los Balcones on the Avenida Marítima and La Recova Market, where we can try gastronomic products such as guarapo, made with sugar cane.
After visiting the capital, we will return to the bus to continue discovering the island. You can see from the bus the Castle of Santa Catalina and the Ship of the Virgin.
The next stop will be Los Tilos, declared a biosphere reserve in 1983, the first in the Canary Islands, where walking between water galleries, we will visit an exuberant laurel forest, until we reach the famous waterfall that will leave you speechless. For the more daring they can bathe under the spray of its refreshing waters.
We will continue the tour to San Andrés, a beautiful town with a hidden past among sugar mills and banana trees. We will have the opportunity to visit two emblematic places such as Charco Azul, one of the 10 best natural pools in Spain, and the Distillery of Ron Aldea,a family business that continues to produce very high-quality rums since the sixties and where you are invited to visit the factory and taste it.
The last stop will be the Sanctuary of La Virgen de Las Nieves, the church of the patron saint of the island of La Palma. The oldest Mariana-style image in the whole of the Canary Islands is preserved inside the church.
