Description
Would you like to discover the island of La Gomera on a single day trip from Tenerife? Then this is your perfect option!
Our day starts by heading to the port of Los Cristianos, where we will take a ferry to the island. Once here, we'll board the bus and head into the Hermigua Valley, where we'll have the opportunity to capture some photos of the breathtaking scenery.
We will continue the excursion until we reach the municipality of Agulo, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant with local products. If availability permits, during lunch we will witness a live demonstration of "silbo gomero", a unique language declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
After lunch we will enter the Garajonay National Park, a paradise of laurel forests and a nature reserve also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Laguna Grande we will learn all the curiosities of this magical place where it is said that the witches of the island used to meet.
We will make a stop at the imposing Roque de Agando, one of the most emblematic places of La Gomera. Finally, we will arrive in San Sebastián, the capital of the island. Here we will have the opportunity to discover the last traces left by Christopher Columbus after his passage through La Gomera, such as the Torre del Conde or the Casa Colón. Once we have finished our visit of San Sebastian, we will head back to the ferry to Tenerife.

LA GOMERA TOUR - 05/02/2026
NICK POND: 05/02/2026
Our tour of La Gomera was excellent and our guide, Fernando was superb. However there were a couple of issues which disappointed us and may affect if we book with you again - 1) when our tour was ending, Fernando advised us in La Gomera, when we departed the ferry back in Los Cristianos he would meet us all and advise which bus we should enter depending upon where we were staying. He was on the phone to your office and there was clearly an issue. All our tour got on the same bus and the coach subsequently made many stops going north from at Los Critianos, Las Americas, Adeje, La Colleta and then headed south to Costa Silencio and then on to Golf Del Sur where we are staying - this took 1 hr 40 mins and we subsequently missed a dinner reservation we had booked. In addition the coach driver picked up en route, two ladies - now these may have been staff but we hadn’t a clue where we were and this may have delayed us even more ? We were not very happy and according to your agent this shouldn’t have happened and we should have been allocated a bus specifically for our general area. We are not very happy. 2) the tour was great but the lunch was very uncomfortable. When we entered the restaurant, we were ushered to a table where there was little space, the fellow guests did not speak our language and were not even from our coach party. We asked to be moved to our fellow coach party but they would not let us and yet there was plenty of space in the restaurant. Not an enjoyable experience.

Excellent Tours with the best tour guide we have ever had. It was a shame that the weather was poor and the visit to the National Park was spoilt by heavy rain.
