Sunset And Stars On Teide

Marvel at the most stunning sunset from the highest peak in Spain. The Teide cable car will take you to height of 3,555m so you can enjoy the spectacle of the awesome shadow of the Teide projected on the ocean as far as the horizon.

After sunset, you can enjoy a wonderful dinner cocktail-style at the Cable Car Base Station designed by Erlantz Gorostiza, a Michelin 2 star chef.

If you have booked without dinner you can enjoy the surroundings while you have free time and you might like to bring a picnic.

The sky over El Teide National Park is one of the best on the planet for stargazing. After dinner, astronomy experts will help you discover the fascinating world of the night sky with the help of their long-range telescopes.

Highlight: the trail to the Pico Viejo viewpoint and astronomical observation with long-range telescopes.

Duration: 8 hours approximately.

Note: Pick up will be at the closest meeting point to your hotel. (No pick-up from Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago, Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraíso, El Médano, Golf del Sur and Costa del Silencio.)

Restrictions:

• People with heart problems, pregnant women, and children under 3 are not allowed to ascend by cable car due to the risk that high altitude poses to their health. If you have any health problems, consult your doctor before planning your visit or booking your Mount Teide Cable Car tickets.
• In accordance with current regulations, persons with any physical disability or motor impairment are not permitted to make the ascent by cable car, because of the potential risks if the vehicle has to be evacuated.
• It is essential to bear in mind that in the event of the failure of the cable car system due to unexpected technical reasons, passengers already at the upper station will have to make their descent on foot and using steep mountain paths.
• Children under the age of 8 are not allowed on this excursion.
• People with health problems should consult their doctor before going on this excursion to Teide at night.
• The cable car facilities are not suitable for people with physical disabilities.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS:

• In the event that weather conditions impede the operation of the cable car for the activity Sunset & Stars, the sunset shall be enjoyed either from the Chío viewpoint or from Los Roques de García, and the price of the cable car return ticket shall be reimbursed to non-residents at the following rates: Adults €50.00; Children €25.00.
• Date changes are valid for 1 year provided that the vouchers have not been redeemed. Any change of date or cancellation must be made within a period of no more than 30 days from the date of the initial booking. Up to 3 date changes are permitted.
